Our Story
The Cappy Hollow Cavaliers name comes from my dad, David Galloway, who is well known for showing and raising dalmatians.  Here is his story:

CAPPY HOLLOW DALMATIANS was named for David's dog, Gallant Captain CDX (Cappy). Cappy arrived in the early 1950's as a gift for David from his parents. His interest developed in training and showing with AKC titles starting in 1957. While attending Ohio University, a barn was remodeled to house the dogs and the name CAPPY HOLLOW was coined. After college a serious devotion to showing and breeding dalmatians began. Concentrating on maximum quality and exhibiting in conformation and obedience across the USA, the name was well established. Although no longer breeding dals, David's daughter, Valerie Childress, has taken over the kennel name for her Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.
